Learn how to pair and set up your HyperSpace Bluetooth Mouse with up to three devices. Step-by-step instructions, common mistakes, and troubleshooting tips.

Quick Answer

To pair your HyperSpace Bluetooth Mouse, press and hold the pairing button until the LED blinks, then select it in your device's Bluetooth settings. You can switch between three paired devices with a button press.

Before You Start: Check Battery and Bluetooth Version

Make sure your mouse has working batteries and that your computer, tablet, or phone supports Bluetooth 5.0 or earlier. The HyperSpace Bluetooth Mouse uses Bluetooth 5.0 for a stable connection, but it works with any device that supports Bluetooth 4.0 or later. If your device is older than that, you may need a separate Bluetooth adapter.

A common oversight is leaving the mouse in pairing mode while the host device is still scanning. Always put the mouse into pairing mode first, then open Bluetooth settings on your device.

How to Pair Your HyperSpace Bluetooth Mouse

  1. Step 1: Put the Mouse in Pairing Mode: Turn on the mouse using the power switch on the bottom. Press and hold the pairing button (usually near the DPI switch) until the LED starts blinking rapidly. This indicates the mouse is discoverable. If the LED does not blink, hold the button for 5 seconds. A slow blink means it is already paired to a device, not in pairing mode.
  2. Step 2: Open Bluetooth Settings on Your Device: On Windows, go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Add Bluetooth or other device. On macOS, open System Settings > Bluetooth. On Android or iOS, go to Settings > Bluetooth. Make sure Bluetooth is turned on. Keep the mouse close to the device (within 3 feet) during pairing to avoid interference or dropouts.
  3. Step 3: Select the Mouse from the Device List: Wait for 'HyperSpace Mouse' or a similar name to appear in the list of available devices. Tap or click it to pair. The LED will stop blinking and stay solid once connected. If the mouse does not appear, turn the mouse off and on again, then repeat Step 1. Restarting the device also helps.
  4. Step 4: Pair Additional Devices (Optional): To pair a second or third device, press the device-switch button on the bottom of the mouse to select an empty slot (the LED will blink in a different pattern). Repeat Steps 1-3 for that slot. You can switch between paired devices by pressing the device-switch button. The mouse remembers each device's settings, including DPI preference.
  5. Step 5: Adjust DPI and Test the Connection: Use the DPI button on top of the mouse to cycle through sensitivity levels (typically 800, 1200, 1600 DPI). Move the cursor to confirm smooth tracking and button responsiveness. If the cursor jumps or lags, try moving closer to the device or replacing the batteries. Interference from metal surfaces or other wireless devices can also affect performance.
